The entire cost of attending Cambridge is covered by a Gates Cambridge Scholarship, which includes tuition, maintenance allowance (£20,000 for 12 months at the 2023–24 rate; pro rata for courses shorter than 12 months; the award is for up to 4 years for Ph.D. scholars), one economy single airfare at the beginning and end of the course, inbound visa fees, and Immigration Health Surcharge costs.
Additionally, this scholarship opportunity offers extra, discretionary support for things like fieldwork, family allowances, and funding for academic advancement.
Eligibility status for Gates Cambridge Scholarship
The following qualify you to apply for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship:
- A national of any country other than the United Kingdom.
