1. Have you been to this Country before?
This question is asked to determine if you are a visitor, a frequent traveler or you are looking to relocate. The best way to answer this question is to be as naturally truthful and state if it is your first time visiting or not.
2. What will you do if you run out of money there?
As much as you would like to disregard this question, it is reasonable and eye opening as it is not uncommon to go broke in a new country as a first timer due to been unfamiliar with the country’s lifestyle. To answer this question, you need to state your plan on how to make money if you are traveling abroad to work. If you are a student, state if you are on scholarship (mention the name of the institution issuing the scholarship and the amount of financial support it covers) or sponsorship from your parents, organization or yourself.
3. Do you have covered health insurance for this journey?
It is always beneficial to have covered health insurance for an overseas journey because of the nature of the risks. So, provide the evidence of the covered health insurance for the period of stay in that country.
4. Who will take care of your property/business when you are away?
The VISA officer generally asks this question when you apply for a long-term VISA. You should mention the name and contact details of the family/friends or manager who will be taking care of your property/business during your travel or stay
5. Why are you traveling to this country?
You can answer this question based on your reason. There are mainly five possible reasons to visit a country such as a holiday, study, work, business, or medical treatment. You should answer honestly and give proof accordingly.
6. Do you have any relatives or any friends in this country?
You would especially face this question if you are looking for a student VISA. If you have any friends or relatives (studying) in that country, you should declare their names and relationships.
7. Accommodation
The interviewer can ask the place where you will stay in UK. It can be at your friends or relatives place or it can be on a university campus or it can be in an apartment with your friends. Students should give correct details as the interview can ask you address as well.
Apart from these questions, they may ask you regarding your personal details, educational background, finance, living cost in UK, whether you have applied to any other country before applying for UK, etc. Summing up, the interview will be all about the reason why have chosen UK, a particular university and course, your plans, occupation, your visa file and your background.
