About the Job:
Among the main duties of the role:
- Promotes and maintains safety, privacy, and dignity of all patients in the delivery of patient-centred care, recognizing and respecting differences, including spiritual and cultural beliefs.
- Acts, wherever applicable, in accordance with the Mental Health Act, duty of candor, and associated policies and procedures.
- Acts as named nurse for patients and holds responsibility for the development of the care documents for those patients and others in the absence of their named nurse.
- Contributes to the planning, coordination, and evaluation of clinical interventions for challenging and complex behaviors such as self-harm and aggression.
