About the Job:
- Ensure that Tracking of patients is efficient and responsive, dealing with queries and day to day issues. Including the tracking of Appointments, MRI dating and reporting and monitoring of histology.
- Support in data collection and audits
- Alert the clinical team on MRI reports and biopsies results so they can be actioned by the clinical team in a timely manner.
- Deal with queries from patients, their carers, general practitioners and members of the admin & clerical team with support from the clinical team.
- Safety supporting biopsy equipment set up whilst in clinic (Training will be provided)
- Maintain stock control where applicable with support of Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Prostate(ANP)
- Proactively support and coordinate for the overall needs of patients on the pathway, using own judgement and escalating to the relevant practitioner as necessary.
- Contact patients offering them a choice of appointment dates and agree with them the date of admission for their biopsies
