About the Job
- Support young people in their day-to-day care, wellbeing, and recovery
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with young people
- Undertake observations, record, and report changes in mental or physical health
- Support the delivery of individual and group therapeutic activities
- Assist with personal care when required, maintaining dignity and privacy
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support care plans
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely electronic and written clinical records
- Escort young people on leave and community activities, as appropriate
- Promote recovery, independence, and emotional well-being
- Support least restrictive practice, de-escalation, and safety interventions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic care environment
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, equality, and diversity standards at all times
- Participate in supervision, appraisal, training, and service development
