About the Job:
1. To provide and maintain an efficient and safe environment for clients and staff, reporting any potential safety issues to an appropriate team member and making suggestions for service improvement, according to Trust and service policies and procedures.
2. To maintain high standards of infection control procedures according to Trust and service policies
3. To maintain client confidentiality at all times according to Trust and service policies.
4. To act as a chaperone, taking into account cultural and religious beliefs, as directed by clinical staff, whilst promoting a positive image of the service
5. Prioritize one’s own workload and organize one’s own work on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the service
6. Identify, report (and contribute to recording) to the appropriate team member any Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult issues observed during duties, according to legislation & Trust policy
7. Prepare equipment and clinical environment, and assist at clinical procedures as appropriate
8. To report sickness, absence and any accident/incident to the clinical manager or his/her deputy
9. To work within the community clinical settings
