About the Job:
- The key responsibilities of this role are to assist the practice nurses with simple clinical procedures, which will include height and weight measurements, urinalysis, lifestyle advice, blood pressure checks, new patient checks, ECGs, removal of sutures, taking blood samples, CPR, chaperoning, supporting with vaccination campaigns, assisting doctors with minor surgery, and general patient assistance.
- To implement clinical work to ensure effective care delivery in partnership with clients and families/carers.
- To promote and advise on healthy lifestyles and weight management.
- To ensure confidentiality on all matters relating to patients and information obtained during the course of employment.
- To work with other members of the team to ensure clinical areas meet a satisfactory infection control level and remain adequately stocked with consumables.
