About the Job:
This is a clinical role, and duties include:
- Running and supporting healthcare clinics (bloods, observations, ECGs, NHS health checks)
- Working in reception (Early Days in Custody), carrying out basic health assessments and bloodborne virus screening
- Assessing and monitoring deteriorating patients, including completion and interpretation of NEWS2 scores, and escalating concerns appropriately
- Supporting health promotion and well-being initiatives
- Acting as pharmacy second checker and assisting with medication rounds
- Working collaboratively with nurses, GPs, and wider healthcare professionals
