About the Job:
You will support the professional staff with the overall responsibility for all patients on the inpatient ward. The scope of the role will include, but not be limited to:
- Welcoming/greeting patients to the ward area.
- Answering the telephone, recording and delivering messages accurately and to the appropriate person.
- Assisting in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation.
- Running errands to other departments.
- Supporting other members of the multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard, learn, and develop in the role, but most importantly someone who understands the value of teamwork and a good work ethic. The ideal applicant will have:
- You will have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and be willing to undertake training to gain further clinical skills.
- Experience or a good understanding of HCA duties and responsibilities
- The ability to receive and communicate information accurately and take instruction from professional colleagues.
- The flexibility to fit into the internal rotating shift pattern
