About the Job: Health Care Assistant needed in NHS jobs
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for experienced Care Assistants to provide quality care support to a male service user with C2 spinal cord injury, Quadriplegic- paralyzed from the neck down, and non-weight bearing. He has a Tracheostomy and requires a ventilator to breathe. Care will be provided in the Service user’s own home.
We are looking for care assistants who are passionate about our Service User’s quality of life and will fulfill their aspirations. Our Service User enjoys going on long walks, trips away, socializing with friends and family, and having great conversations. Our Service User would like someone who holds a full UK driving license and can drive his mobility Van to get him out and about for daily activities and appointments.

- Job Title: Health Care Assistant
- Hourly Rate: £12.00 up to £18.50 (following probation and compliance period increase rate once clinical signoff up to £18.50ph)
- Starting pay Days shifts Monday to Friday £12ph weekdays & £15.50 weekends
- Starting pay Night shifts Monday to Friday £14ph weekdays & £16.50 weekends
- Package Location: Rippendon, Halifax
- Shifts Available: 0700-1900 Days

- Flexible in working both days and/or nights over a 4 weekly rota period

Experience/Skills Required for this Health Care Assistant role:
- Minimum 12 months experience required in Health Care
- Willingness to undertake training
- Strong communication skills in the English language
- Ability to undertake clinical care in the community
- Provide high standards of care, particularly hygiene, dignity, confidentiality
- Demonstrate best clinical practice
- Working in someone’s home ensures it must always feel like their home
- Attention to detail for productive results
- Positive attitude at all times.
