About the Job:
- Participate in the scrub and circulating role for orthopaedic procedures
- Deliver high standards of evidence-based peri-operative care
- Prepare and manage specialist orthopaedic instrumentation and equipment
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider MDT
- Advocate for patients and maintain patient dignity and safety at all times
- Support infection prevention, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring and supporting learners and new staff
- Maintain accurate peri-operative documentation and comply with Trust policies and professional standards
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Current UK registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Previous scrub experience, ideally within orthopaedics
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of patient care
