About the Job:
- As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare, in the Wimbledon Common Care Home in London, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering various activities aimed at stimulating and engaging residents’ physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
- Your role includes maintaining a safe environment, reporting any changes in residents’ conditions, assisting in ordering and preparing supplies for activities, and promoting links with the local community.
- Success in this role requires living the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.
- Effective communication skills are essential, as is a positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to high-quality activities.
- Experience with older individuals in a residential dementia setting is required.
