About the Job:
As a Domiciliary Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to people within their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Your duties may include:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assisting with washing, dressing and personal hygiene
- Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting with medication where required
- Helping with light household tasks and maintaining a safe home environment
- Supporting people to access the community, attend appointments and enjoy social activities
- Working closely with families and other professionals involved in a person’s care
- Recording care provided and reporting any concerns appropriately
