About the Job:
- You will be involved in the development, delivery, and evaluation of OT services within CAMHS. This would include the provision of comprehensive OT assessments and treatments for children presenting with neurodevelopmental conditions.
- For some cases, you will be the primary case manager, for others, you may provide input to the case through discipline-specific consultation, assessments and interventions. This may include assessment of a child or young person’s motor and sensory development to assess their needs and provide appropriate advice and intervention.
- You will work as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team, holding a varied caseload and delivering high-quality therapeutic work that is culturally sensitive and family-centred.
- You will be confident in making autonomous clinical decisions, managing risk, and using supervision structures to maintain excellent standards of care.
- You will also be involved in supervising junior staff and occupational therapy students where appropriate.
