About the Job:
- To work autonomously as a specialist therapy practitioner within an integrated Care Community Team to deliver a high-quality Occupational Therapy service through assessment and treatment of patients referred with complex rehabilitation needs
- To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and communicate information to those agencies (either health or social background) involved, to meet the needs of the patient & plan effective care.
- To participate in departmental In-service Training and Journal Club activities to further consolidate knowledge base and specialist clinical skills. Participate in the CPD programme to share these skills with therapy and nursing colleagues.
- To provide supervision, teaching and support to senior and junior staff, assistant staff and act as a clinical educator for undergraduate students.
