About the Job:

• The post holder will be required to work within a challenging clinical environment and may undertake shift work, which may include nights and weekends.
• The post holder will be an integral part of the nursing team, actively taking part in meeting the needs of patients and of the service in accordance with agreed standards under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.
• The post holder will continue to develop essential competencies through training and practice to ensure safety and quality are the priority.
• This post attracts individuals who are new to care. You will receive support to complete the Band 3 competencies and progress into a Band 3 role within 6 months upon successful completion of all required competencies; until then, you will be placed at a Band 2 salary.
