About the Job:
- Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers (SHCSWs) form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare teams across a number of dynamic settings; out in the community, in our acute hospitals or within our theatres teams to name just a few.
- You will be a valued member of the team through our comprehensive training and induction programme and our commitment to learning and development will satisfy even the most ambitious person.
- We welcome applications from all areas of nursing, although previous experience in interventional radiology, endoscopy, cardiac catheterisation or theatre is desirable, training will be given to successful applicants.
- The key qualities of a radiology senior healthcare support worker are a passion to advocate for the patient and their safety, champion the trust values and have the desire to work within a dynamic and multidisciplinary team.
- A senior healthcare support worker in radiology works within a multidisciplinary team across a variety of areas, assisting radiologists with procedures in CT/Ultrasound/Fluoroscopy and caring for patients pre and post procedure, alongside the nursing team. This provides a diverse and engaging environment to work in.
