About the Job:
- As a Registered Nursing Associate, you will work with a number of professionals, voluntary and community services (VCS), and specialist health services, including community nurses, specialist nurses, therapists, health care assistants, social workers, and mental health services.
- You will also be responsible for building and nurturing working relationships within the community to meet the needs of the children, young people, and families you support.
- As a registered nursing associate, you will be expected to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a varied caseload of children and young people aged 0-19 and their families.
- You will be able to communicate complex and sensitive information within the wider team.
- You will need to contribute to the development of care plans and to the review and evaluation of these plans to ensure appropriate and effective patient care.
- You will carry out developmental reviews, group work activities, health promotion, and health education programs, as delegated by members of the Specialist Public Health Nursing Team.
- You will support specialist public health nurses in the delivery of the Healthy Child Program.
- You will provide one-to-one support to families, as delegated by Specialist Public Health Nurses.
