About the Job: Registered Nurse needed in the UK
Provide continuing care to patients across the practice population. Treatment room duties in line with competency e.g. suture/clip removal, basic & complex wound care, ECGs, cervical smears and family planning, travel vaccinations and advice, child immunizations, urinalysis, phlebotomy.
Monitoring and support of the management of patients with long-term conditions / chronic diseases, using a holistic patient-centred approach. Support patients to improve and maintain their mental and physical health and well-being.
Blood pressure measurement, ear syringing, peak flow readings, and warfarin monitoring using RATs. Requesting basic pathology tests, for example, urine culture, and swabs. Assist in the provision of minor surgery, coil, and implant fittings. Assist with the coordination of Infection Control policy and audit.
