Ward 22 NTGH is a stroke rehabilitation unit caring for patients of all ages and at varied points within their patient journey. Our staff provides a high-quality service in a safe environment where the needs of each patient are cared for professionally and holistically by using all available specialist knowledge and skills. The well-being of all our patients relies on appropriate and timely assessment, investigation, treatment, and care.

Our ward can be a busy and challenging environment. In joining our team, you will bring your skills and passion to provide the highest quality patient-focused care and compassion for our patients. You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and can work using your initiative as well as part of the wider team.

The post is fully rotational days/nights and covers seven days a week.

The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a dynamic nursing team delivering all aspects of care to the patients.

You will have the opportunity to develop in this specialized field as well as continue development as a Band 5. There is a huge range of learning opportunities available.
