About the Job:

• The post holder will lead on the delivery of a comprehensive and ongoing training program for all staff through clinical teaching and the provision of specialist knowledge and education to meet the requirements of the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts, the Maternity Incentive Scheme, Saving Babies Lives V3.2, and other nationally driven education expectations.
• The post holder will be a clinical expert in the delivery of midwifery care and will provide hands-on assessment, supervision, and development of staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.
• As a lead specialist, the post holder will act as a point of contact within the Trust for the delivery of specialist knowledge and training relating to the care of midwifery across all divisions and will work within the wider multidisciplinary team.
• The post holder will work alongside the staff in a role as a clinical educator but will also be expected to work clinically in periods of high acuity.
