About the Job:
- Provide core Associate sexual health and HIV nursing skills, including microscopy, chaperoning, and venepuncture, cryotherapy, and genital examination of male and female patients.
- The collection, handling, and processing of samples (including cervical cytology).
- To work in all aspects of sexual health and HIV services.
- Use appropriate clinical guidance documents.
- Pre-test discussions with patients regarding HIV and hepatitis using interpersonal skills to assess patients’ understanding, risk, and eligibility.
- To adhere to Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust policies on child protection and Fraser competencies in relation to sexual health and the under 16s.
