About the Job:
Midwife Sonographer
- Assesses and reports own workload in the obstetric field. Communicates results of the scan to the woman and arranges follow-up care according to guidelines when necessary.
- Assists with the training of multidisciplinary staff within the department.
- Assists with audit and research in the department.
Radiographer/Sonographer
- Assesses and reports own workload in obstetrics and may be requested to assess and report on intra-abdominal and gynecological fields. Communicates results of the scan to the woman and arranges follow-up care according to guidelines when necessary.
- Assists with the training of multidisciplinary staff within the department.
- Assists with audit and research in the department.
