About the Job:
As a Band 6 Midwife, you will work as an autonomous practitioner providing high-quality care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
You will coordinate care, recognise and escalate maternal and neonatal deterioration, support informed decision-making, and deliver personalised, trauma-informed care.
The role includes providing day-to-day clinical leadership, acting as a role model for junior staff and students, supporting multidisciplinary working, and contributing to workforce development.
You will be expected to participate in maternity safety initiatives, audits, quality improvement, and service development activities whilst maintaining excellent clinical documentation and professional standards.
