About the Job:
- Provide senior clinical leadership and strategic direction for infant feeding services across maternity and community settings at Band 7 level
- Lead initiatives to improve breastfeeding initiation and continuation rates, including support for complex feeding needs
- Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and community services to reduce health inequalities and improve public health outcomes
- Maintain and embed UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) Gold accreditation through audit, training, and continuous quality improvement
- Deliver and oversee education and training programmes for staff, parents, and service users
- Provide specialist infant feeding advice and guidance to all levels of staff
- Act as a professional role model, promoting high standards of evidence-based, family-centred care
