About the Job:
- Provide a high-quality, person-centered approach to care delivery within your sphere of practice, always considering patients’ privacy, dignity, and safety.
- To deliver planned care to a group of patients working alongside the multi-disciplinary team and in accordance with Trust policies and protocols.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide support/guidance to less experienced staff/learners within the clinical environment as needed.
- Manage a defined group of patients/service users under the indirect supervision of a registered nurse, using evidence-based/client-centered principles to undertake a range of delegated tasks independently.
- Contribute to the ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient/service user care and escalate to senior registered practitioner as appropriate.
- Promote health and prevent ill health in service users, contributing to integrated care.
- To plan and undertake clinical tasks guided by standard operating procedures and protocols within the limitations of the healthcare assistant role.
- Undertake delegated clinical skills within their scope of practice after having once undertaken relevant training, being deemed competent, and adhering to local and national guidance.
