About the Job:
- This is a hands-on, patient-facing clinical support role working closely with the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team to promote health, prevent illness, and support the ongoing management of patients across the practice.
- You will carry out a range of clinical tasks including patient health checks, observations, phlebotomy, urine testing, and ECG recording where trained, supporting both routine and long-term condition monitoring.
- The role also involves assisting with vaccination programmes, wound care, suture and staple removal where appropriate, and providing patients with health promotion advice to support self-care and wellbeing.
- You will maintain accurate and timely clinical records, respond to patient queries, and work collaboratively across the practice to ensure smooth, safe, and effective care delivery.
- Flexibility, professionalism, and a compassionate approach are essential as you support both patients and colleagues in a fast-paced Primary Care environment.
- Strong communication skills, good IT knowledge, and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care are key to success in this role. In return, you will be supported to develop your clinical skills and progress your career within a forward-thinking organisation.
