About the Job:
As our new healthcare assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, both in the healthcare department and on the wards
- Facilitate clinics, including bloods, observations (obs), ECGs, NHS health checks, etc
- Be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages
- Support the nursing team with all aspects of care
- Act as a second checker in pharmacy as required
- Support reception (new patients entering the prison) and assist with triaging new patients
- You will primarily be working within the Primary Care team, although you will be required to carry out duties in the Substance Misuse team
