About the Job:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting patients with their individual care needs and day-to-day wellbeing
- Assisting the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a patient’s condition to the relevant clinical staff
- Communicating effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues
- Maintaining accurate patient records in line with hospital policies and data protection requirements
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment
- Supporting infection prevention and control practices across the department
Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for a caring, compassionate, and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. You will have:
- Previous experience working as a healthcare assistant within a healthcare setting
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
- Good understanding of basic nursing care
- Basic awareness of health, safety and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and patient-focused approach
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
- English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0 standard
