About the Job:

• The successful candidate plays a vital role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within the practice.
• Working under the supervision of GPs and practice nurses, the successful candidate will undertake a variety of clinical duties, including taking blood samples, performing NHS health checks, recording observations such as blood pressure, height, weight, and BMO, and assisting in routine clinical procedures.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring all clinical activity is documented appropriately within the clinical system, and adhering to practice policies relating to confidentiality, safeguarding, infection prevention and control, and health and safety.
• They will be expected to maintain clinical equipment, ensuring treatment rooms are clean, safe, and fully stocked, and contribute to the smooth running of clinical services.
• The postholder will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, remonstrating excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach when caring for patients.
• They will actively participate in training, practice meetings, and professional development activities to maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills while supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and responsive healthcare services.
