About the Job:
The main duties of the role will include the following:
– Carrying out heart failure clinic reviews
– Undertaking routine clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations, temperature following RDASH protocols.
– Carrying out venepuncture.
– Carrying out ECG recordings when trained and assessed as competent.
– Supporting patients with long-term cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmia
and coronary heart disease.
– Independently managing 24-hour tapes, including the configuring and downloading of data.
– Application of 24-hour heart monitors in a clinic/home base setting and utilizing a self-fitoption.
-Accurately report findings and any changes or concerns promptly to senior nurses.
-Monitoring of waiting lists to maintain a 4-week response time liaising closely with Adminand Clinical staff.
-Maintaining confidentiality in accordance with Trust policies and national guidelines.
