About the Job:
This is a birth center-based midwife post with a requirement to attend home births as the lead midwife, with an aim to provide safe, evidence-based, and personalized care to women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey.
- To promote and facilitate choice to those wishing to birth at home and also support women who choose to birth alongside the birth center
- To continually undertake holistic risk assessments to support the delivery of appropriate care
- To work in partnership with the wider multidisciplinary team, enabling coordinated care and, where necessary, appropriate referrals
- To actively contribute to the reduction in health inequalities by supporting aservice that is accessible to all
