Also: students cannot be enrolled in another degree program while at Yenching.

To apply, get these ready (in English):
- Completed online application form via the Yenching Academy portal.
- Personal statement (max 750 words)
- Statement of Research Interest (max 1,500 words, excluding citations)
- CV or resume
- Official transcripts and diploma or enrollment certs
- Two letters of recommendation (from full or associate professors, in your field)
- Proof of English proficiency (unless your situation exempts you)

- For Mainland China applicants: follow PKU’s grad school site.

- For international non-Chinese citizens: apply through the Yenching portal. If you previously held Chinese nationality and have since changed citizenship, there are additional documents needed.
