About the Job:
Key Accountabilities
Clinical Practice
- Assist with all activities of daily living, addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients.
- Undertake, record and report clinical observations as directed by registered staff.
- Support treatment and activities for patients within the inpatient environment.
- Promote maximum independence and dignity for patients.
- To help them achieve reasonable and achievable goals
- Maintain accurate, timely and relevant clinical records, both written and electronic.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.
Performance Measures:
- Care delivered in accordance with hospice policies, procedures, and CQC standards.
- Accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Adherence to infection prevention and control and safeguarding requirements.
- Must have experience in care
- Palliative experience is desirable
Safeguarding
- All staff are responsible for ensuring that risks of harm to children and vulnerable adults are minimised.
- Concerns must be addressed in line with hospice safeguarding policies and local multi-agency procedures.
