About the Job:
As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Working within the primary care team, you will work with Nurses and Nursing Associates across the service
- Run health clinics on the wings and in the healthcare department. Clinics include bloods, wound care and health promotion
- Assist with clinical observations, vaccination clinics etc
- Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
- Support the nursing and pharmacy teams onsite

Our new Healthcare Assistant will:
- Hold a NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a healthcare environment – hospital, prison or within the community
- Have a keen interest in care – we offer lots of training and development opportunities and can help you work towards your interests and career goals!
- Although not essential, your own vehicle would be beneficial due to the location of the site
