About the Job:
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care Team in delivering high standards of personal care. You will help provide a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes that may impact care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records accordingly.
- Participating in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and completing monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting team members with their professional development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing—ensuring reasonable requests are met and any concerns or complaints are appropriately escalated.
