About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ADHD Pharmacist to join our forward-thinking Mental Health team working fully remotely from anywhere in the UK.
Were seeking a dedicated Independent Prescriber with proven experience in mental health, primary or secondary care, and psychiatric settings. You will play a key role in supporting patients with ADHD and other complex mental health conditions, delivering safe, high-quality care through remote assessments, reviews, and prescribing.
This role offers the flexibility of remote working while allowing you to make a direct impact on patient wellbeing and service innovation in ADHD care.
Main duties of the job:
Clinical Practice:
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD medication reviews and mental health assessments via secure remote platforms.
- Prescribe ADHD and psychotropic medications safely, adhering to NICE guidelines, local formularies, and Trust policies.
- Monitor and manage patients with complex and high-risk presentations, ensuring appropriate follow-up and escalation.
- Optimise pharmacological treatment, considering drug efficacy, side effects, and patient adherence.
- Provide specialist advice to clinicians on ADHD and mental health medication management.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and detailed clinical documentation in electronic health records (e.g. EMIS).
