About the Job:
The healthcare assistant will be able to apply their clinical skills and knowledge to carry out some of the following duties;
- Undertaking new patient health checks.
- Carrying out learning disability, hypertension and mental health reviews.
- Supporting the practice nurse team.
- Carrying out baseline observations.
- Blood pressure monitoring.
- Undertaking wound care, venepuncture (when trained), phlebotomy checks and administering of medicines and vaccines.
- Administering B12 injections.
- Performing weight and BMI checks.
- Performing ECGs as requested.
Chet Valley Medical Practice is based within the village of Loddon in our spacious purpose-built premises. We have a list size of 9,000 patients, and cover an area including Loddon, Chedgrave and the surrounding villages including Norton Sub Course, Hoverston and Surlingham.
